Dame Helen Mirren is an Academy Award, BAFTA, Tony and Emmy-winning British actor best known for her numerous award-winning roles. Helen first began performing in theater as a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company before making her film debut with “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in 1968. In 1991, she took on the role of detective Jane Tennison in the TV series “Prime Suspect,” which earned her three Emmy Awards. In 2006, Helen won the Oscar for Best Actress for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in “The Queen.” Helen has starred in numerous films throughout her career, including “Gosford Park,” “Red,” “The Good Liar,” “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” and the “Fast & Furious” franchise.
