Karine Jean-Pierre is a political advisor who has served as the White House press secretary under President Joe Biden since May 13, 2022. Karine is the first Black person and first openly queer person to serve in the position. She was also the chief of staff for Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2020 presidential campaign.
