Jennifer Hudson is an Academy Award and Grammy-winning singer and actress. She stars as Grizabella in the upcoming film adaptation of the musical "Cats." She rose to fame on the third season of "American Idol," coming in seventh place. She has since released three solo albums, with 2009's "Jennifer Hudson" winning a Grammy for Best R&B Album. She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her film debut in the big-screen musical "Dreamgirls" and has since appeared in the films "Sex & The City," "The Secret Life of Bees" and "Sing."
