Wanda Sykes is an Emmy-winning actor, writer, and comedian. She has been nominated for 17 Emmy Awards and won one in 1999 for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special for her work on "The Chris Rock Show." She is known for her roles in "The New Adventures of Old Christine," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," “Alpha House,” “Monster-in-Law,” “Evan Almighty,” “Pootie Tang”  and "Black-ish."
