Kelly Plays ‘Most Likely To…’ ‘American Idol’ Edition | Digital Exclusive
While driving through Los Angeles, Mel Tillekeratne took an accidental turn into Skid Row, an area known for its large homeless population. What he saw inspired him to create "The Shower Of Hope," a non-profit that brings mobile showers to the homeless in addition to meals and resources to help them get back on their feet. They also provide safe parking lots for people who sleep in their cars. Kelly speaks with Mel and Operations Manager Maribel to get the full story, and she chats with a woman who received help from "The Shower Of Hope" after becoming homeless during the pandemic. This organization moved Kelly's friends at Moen so much that they donated $10,000 dollars to "The Shower Of Hope."
